Who we are

Genius Home Finds operates https://geniushomefinds.com. This policy explains how information is handled when you browse our store, place an order, or contact us. For privacy questions, email geniushomefinds@gmail.com.

The current storefront uses guest checkout and does not offer customer accounts, public comments, or public image uploads.

Information we collect and how we use it

When you check out, Stripe collects the information needed to process your payment and order, including your email address, recipient name, shipping address, and payment details. We use order information to arrange delivery, confirm payment, respond to questions, and handle returns, refunds, disputes, and suspected fraud.

Our storefront stores a minimal payment receipt containing Stripe order and event references, product or option IDs, SKUs, quantities, amounts, currency, and the date recorded. Customer names, email addresses, shipping addresses, and full card details are not saved in that receipt database.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any information or attachments you choose to provide. Our support address uses Gmail. Please do not send full card numbers, security codes, or passwords by email.

Our hosting and payment providers may process technical information, such as your IP address, browser information, and request details, to deliver their services, maintain security, and prevent abuse.

Payments

Payments take place on Stripe-hosted Checkout. Full card details are submitted to Stripe rather than stored by this storefront. The store owner can access the order, payment status, and delivery details through Stripe to manage your purchase. Stripe's own use of personal information is explained in the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Cookies and browser storage

Your shopping bag is saved in your browser's local storage using product or option IDs and quantities. It does not contain your name, email address, shipping address, or payment details. A temporary checkout reference and a copy of your selected items are stored in session storage so that the correct bag can be cleared after payment confirmation.

You can remove this stored information through your browser's site-data settings. Blocking or clearing storage may prevent the bag from being saved or restored. Bag data has no automatic expiry set by the storefront; the temporary checkout reference is removed after confirmation or when its session storage is cleared.

Stripe and Cloudflare may use cookies or similar technologies as part of payment, security, or service functionality. Their practices are described in their privacy and cookie notices.

Who we share your data with

Stripe processes payment and order information. Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website and stores the minimal payment receipts described above; see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. Google processes support messages sent to our Gmail address; see the Google Privacy Policy.

Order fulfillment is handled manually by the store. When arranging delivery, the recipient name, shipping address, and contact details needed for delivery are shared with the manufacturing or fulfillment partner handling the order and its delivery carrier.

Information may also be disclosed when required to meet legal obligations or to address fraud, security concerns, or disputes.

Content and links from other websites

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Loading those fonts makes a connection to Google, which receives technical request information such as your IP address and browser details.

When you follow a link to Stripe, our social profiles, or another external website, that provider's privacy practices apply to your interaction there. External services may use their own cookies or similar technologies.

How long we retain your data

Order and payment records support fulfillment, customer service, returns, refunds, disputes, accounting, and administrative, legal, and security needs. Our minimal receipt database currently has no automatic deletion schedule. Records in Stripe, support email, and other providers' systems are also subject to those providers' retention practices.

You can clear shopping-bag data from your browser at any time. To ask about records associated with an order or request deletion, contact us at geniushomefinds@gmail.com. We review deletion requests and may retain information that we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

What rights you have over your data

You can request a copy or export of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or request that we erase it. This includes information you have provided to us. Deletion does not include information we are obliged to retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Email geniushomefinds@gmail.com with your request and enough information to identify the relevant order or correspondence. We may need to verify that the request relates to your information before responding. You can also contact Stripe directly about information it handles under its own privacy policy.

Where your data is processed

The store and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where their services operate. This policy describes the current storefront; information previously supplied through the former website can also be the subject of an access or deletion request using the contact details above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the store's features or data-handling practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
